I am Chris Johnston, co-owner of TBHB with my son Christopher Johnston. A lifelong resident of Fort Worth and a real estate broker for more than 25 years, I am accustomed to the real estate market in North Texas where to buy and sell houses are important to the area’s growth. My philosophy is to help people first and not worry about a financial reward; it comes when the homeowner’s problems are solved.
We all know someone who buys a house and is forced to sell their house due to extenuating circumstances. The weight of losing one’s home takes a toll on families, neighbors and the home. Helping families in this situation lifts their burdens, providing great satisfaction.
I started an owner-finance company over 10 years ago that enables me to help families with credit issues who don’t qualify for traditional financing and are looking to purchase the home of their dreams. I am Christopher Johnston, co-owner of TBHB. Like my Dad, I was born and raised in Fort Worth. My young son, Asher, will likely be the third generation in our family to make Fort Worth his life-long home. My wife, Sasha, and I met 15 years ago in Forth Worth’s Grace Baptist Church where we remain active members. One of my lifetime core values is to love God and love people.
I previously taught school for six years at Bedford Junior High, where I was named Teacher of the Year during my tenure. I recently resigned to pursue a career in real estate, specifically becoming a premiere Texas home buyer.
